Now let’s look at AdSense manual ads. These are ads you place manually on your website. Nothing more, nothing less. There is certainly a lot of work that needs to be done to get them to work correctly, but if you do things right, there is a lot more money to be earned.

To start off, you need to check which of the different types of ad units you want to use. For this article, we will only focus on the Display Ads Ad Unit. This is because this article is meant to teach you the basics of adding manual ads to your WordPress website.

You have to copy the entire code as it appears on the screen. You can also use the Copy Snippet button to copy the entire code to your clipboard.
